Prior to the vineyard and olive grove being established in 1997, the undulating hills of Diamond Creek Estate
operated as the night paddocks for the famous Hindmarsh dairy.

With an altitude of 680 meters and a northerly aspect, our property also benefits from a unique topography, which shelters the vineyards from potentially damaging frost.

The combination of the rich basalt soil conditions and the ideal frost free microclimate ensures that we consistently cultivate premium quality, cool climate wine grapes and the finest olives for extra virgin olive oil.

Presently, our award winning vineyard occupies 15 acres and a similar acreage has been dedicated to our ever flourishing olive grove. Our varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The vines are subject to intensive management for improvement, hand pruned and leaf-plucked as required. They are also personally tended and cropped for optimized high quality yields. Our harvests are quality controlled and optimally timed in order to maintain the consistent premium quality cool climate wine grapes we pride ourselves on.

Each year our Cabernet Sauvignon is handpicked, usually as part of a yearly event that brings together family and friends for what is always a memorable day amongst the vines and invariably concludes with a BBQ washed down with a taste of a past vintages of the same Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

We are proud to say that Diamond Creek Estate Wines are all produced exclusively from estate grown grapes.
