  • Vintage: An excellent vintage with mid season temperatures, above average rainfall well below average. Late season conditions were generally favourable for most varieties delivering ripe, clean fruit with excellent acid balance and good sugar levels.
  • Analysis: Alcohol 12.30% - pH 3.49 - TA 9.60 - RS g/l<2.80 - Preservatives 220
  • Winemaking: Grapes were crushed and destemmed, later the must was cold macerated for 5 days to maximise colour and aromas extraction.
    Soon after the must was warmed up to 20°, innoculated with selected yeast and then alcoholic fermentation was completed after 14 days. After completion, wine was drained into barrels - 50% french, 25% American, 25% Hungarian. After 16 months, the wine was blended, stabilized, filtered and prepared for bottling.

  • Palate: Medium bodied with full fruit flavours and soft lingering tannins delivering a velvety smooth finish.
