  • Harvest: 17 April 2010 - Hand Picked
  • Vintage: A very good vintage. Very hot early to mid season, high rainfall late in the season posed some risks but elated to deliver an excellent, clean crop at harvest. Yields were above average and quality maintained with a good balance and fully ripe fruit.
  • Analysis: Alcohol 12.7 % - pH 3.78 - Preservatives 220
  • Winemaking: Grapes were crushed, destemmed and inoculated with selected yeast and then alcoholic fermentation was completed after 14 days. After completion the wine was put into stainless steel tank and a fraction into oak barrels. After 24 months the wine was blended, stabilised, filtered and prepared for bottling.

  • Aroma: Exhibits intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, plums, truffles, mocha and black pepper
  • Palate: Generous, athletic and everlasting with soft lingering tannins
  • Suggested Cuisine: Red meats, game and rich Burgundy or Roja meat dishes
