  • Region: Southern Highlands NSW, Australia

  • Vineyard: Diamond Creek Estate - Single Estate Grown
  • Harvest: 24 March 2010 - Hand Picked
  • Vintage: A great vintage with well above average rainfall early in the season, providing good conditions for fruit set and vine vigour. Average temperatures and sunlight were slightly higher than normal during the latter "ripening" part of the season which contributed to excellent fruit characteristics with fine acid balance.
  • Analysis: Alcohol 12.8 % - pH 3.38 - Preservatives 220
  • Winemaking: Crushed and pressed with fermentation carried out for 14 days at 130° in stainless steel. Final fermentation finished in oak barrels
    for a period of 2 weeks. Matured in American and French oak for 12 months. Fined cold stabilised and filtered previous to bottling.
  • Seal: Screw Cap
  • Colour: Pale greenish yellow
  • Aroma: Intense citrus, melon and sweet vanillan aromas
  • Palate: Medium length, full flavoured and fruit driven
  • Suggested Cuisine: Seafood, poultry and mild Thai dishes
